Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson has welcomed a Cyber Security Conference being held for Lancashire small and medium sized businesses.
Lancashire Police will be hosting the conference on Thursday 31st January in Preston and it is free for businesses to attend.
Mr Stephenson said, “Online crime now accounts for more than half of all crimes committed. Therefore this is an issue individuals and especially businesses need to be just as aware of as other security risks.
“I welcome Lancashire Constabulary putting this conference on at no expensive for local businesses and would encourage those from Pendle to take up the opportunity to get expert advice.”
