Following the report in The Times Newspaper this morning (below), where the Transport Secretary mentioned the possibility of the re-opening of the Colne-Skipton line, I was pleased to join him on the front bench in the Commons this afternoon.
Chris Grayling was announcing a bold Rail Strategy that will expand the rail network- making life better for commuters, unlocking potential for housing developments and boosting jobs. There was no specific commitment about the Colne-Skipton line today, but I'll be keeping up the pressure in the coming weeks and months.
